Residencies, Europe, Asia & USA

Develop a Truly Global Perspective

Courses taught at distinguished partner business schools in various parts of the world are an integral part of the ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA experience. An extensive network of global partner institutions contributes to the organization of these residencies, among them schools such as IE Business School (formerly Instituto de Empresa), Madrid, and Tongji University, Shanghai. As of 2012, a residency at a renowned business school in the U.S. forms an integral part of the program.

The residencies offer unique insights into the areas of expertise from each institution whilst also providing you with the opportunity to experience first-hand a broad variety of business styles and practices.

Destinations and topics may vary from one class to the next. Recent residencies have taken place in China and Singapore, Spain, Hungary, Belgium and Norway, covering topics such as:

  • Managing Emerging Markets
  • Corporate Governance
  • Global Corporations and the Global Environment
  • European Environment Strategy

»The program in general and the Singapore residency in particular were very important steps for me on my path to succeeding in Asia, where business practices are obviously different from Europe but more importantly different from country to country as well.«
