ESSEC & Mannheim Weekend Executive MBA class supports Day-Care Center

Thursday, 17 December 2009

Children are society's future and at the same its most dependent members, needing us to ensure their wellbeing and to support them reach their fullpotential. Knowing the importance of play in childhood development, the participants of the ESSEC & Mannheim Weekend Executive MBA class of 2010 decided on helping the children of a day-care center in Esthal near Mannheim as their social class project. They plan to renovate the facility's run-down outdoor playground by rolling up their sleeves and repairing the existing equipment themselves. Also, they aim to procure and install new play structures, so that the children of the Esthal day-care center will once again have a safe outdoor playspace, where they can climb and jump and swing and run - or, in other words, simply be kids and have fun.

Companies or individuals are very much invited to support the class' efforts, either through an individual donation (online or SMS) or as corporate sponsors. To find out more about the project and the ways you can contribute go to http://www.esthaler-kinderlachen.de or contact Nadine Mautner at +49-(0)160-90819491 or via e-mail at nadine.mautner(at)mba-mannheim.com.
